SOUND INSTALLATION

The basic concept of this project is to convert the measurements of a room (height, lengths, widths) into sound. In the tonal conversion of the visual space, the structure of the room gets rebuilt piece-by-piece or sound-by-sound. Thereby a new space experience is created by the sound sequences.

Early setups of this work consisted of a 4 canal audio system and a motion detector. An audio tracking system, which reacts to the sounds produced by the recipients, was added to later versions.
