V-Tweeter
SONIC SCULPTURE

V-Tweeter is an interactive sound object prototype that allows a group of users to generate new sonic experiences in sound installations by using their own voices. It is designed to transform recorded voice messages into motion and also to transpose them to the higher and lower limits of human hearing.

The object is comprised of 20 piezoelectric speakers fixed to wires, one body shaker holding the wires and 10 LEDs for visual feedback. The V-Tweeter addresses a number of hardware and software challenges in developing sound objects for new sonic experiences.
